Welcome all you wonderful humans to our first blog post! Brandon, Madison, and myself (Kirby), will be taking turns posting our thoughts, pictures, and memories that we create along the Pacific Crest Trail this summer right here on this page! For those of you who don’t know, the three of us graduate May 2nd, and are hopping on a plane to California May 9th, and plan on kicking the hike off on May 11th. That means we have just eight short days to get our acts together before we leave our “normal” lives behind for 4.5-5 months. Our goal is to finish the entire 2,657 mile long trail from the border of Mexico all the way to Canada by October 1. We hope that you’ll keep up with us here, on Facebook (Nashville Nomads), and don’t foget the infamous Instagram (@NASHVILLENOMADS). I know that the three of us are all a little anxious right now with trying to finish college, planning the details of this insane trip we’re about to adventure out on, and mapping out our future’s after the trail, so any encouragement or prayers before, amongst, or after our journey would be so splendid! We are thankful that our families have so willingly jumped on board to help us accomplish this great feat, and for our incredible sponsors (click on the “Sponsors” page, and check those tremendous companies out!) who generously donated supplies and support to us. This trip is unquestionably God’s work, and we are so stoked to see how it all will play out. We of course will keep ya’ll posted!
